As some of you may know, Katie, my best friend in the whole world introduced me to the love of my life. Jerod and I live a beautiful life with three beautiful children all because of her.

BUT now it’s Katie’s turn. That’s right… my best friend is engaged!!! I recently traveled to the east coast to visit the two of them and of course we worked in a little photo session.

Katie and Dave, I am so happy for you! You both are incredible people with so much love to give one another.

I had the pleasure of photographing these two awesome kiddos last week. They were such a pleasure. Little Miss Tatum didn’t really want her picture taken, but I still think I got adorable shots of her. Her brother, Payton, on the other hand LOVED his picture taken… he was such a ham!

I’m telling you, this location is the best and this band is the best!!!! Their shoot was so much fun. I mean really, it’s not everyday I get serenaded by clients during a photo session and they are good, good, good!! Click here to check them out.

I heart these two! How cool is it that Mark & Marla are married and play in a band together? It leaves me with a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see them play together.
